Description:
This course provides an overview of the national CHEMPACK Program, as well as types of situations during which CHEMPACK assets should be deployed and an overview of many responders duties in an emergency. Module 1 covers the introduction to the CHEMPACK Program. This module is targeted towards: Hospital personnel, first responders, public health professionals and other staff and volunteers who may be involved in a response effort. Learning objectives will help to build skills so that the public health worker can contribute expertise to the development of emergency plans which is Competency 3.2 under Plan and Improve Practice.
